The service
ChordsBook is a curated songbook and performance app operated by Harmonology Labs. It provides chord charts, setlist building, shared live setlists, practice tools such as metronome and key drone, and AI-assisted song curation, under the subscription tiers described in the app.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for activity that happens under it. Keep your login secure. If you are subscribed to the Band plan you may invite members by email, and you are responsible for the members you invite and for removing access when they should no longer have it.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid tiers are offered on a monthly or yearly cycle. Online payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. Where a bank transfer is used instead, access is activated once our team has verified the payment receipt you submit.
Subscriptions renew for the cycle you selected until they are cancelled. Trial access, including the Pro trial, ends automatically at the end of the trial period with no charge. Prices may change, and we will tell you before a change affects your renewal. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
Acceptable use
Use ChordsBook for your own learning and performance. Do not scrape, copy, redistribute, resell or republish the chord library, arrangements, lyrics or other library content, and do not use automated tools to extract it. Do not share your account, attempt to break or overload the service, or upload unlawful content.
Live setlist sessions are for the people you invite. Chat must stay respectful: harassment, spam and advertising in a shared session are not allowed, and hosts may set a viewer limit for their session.
Content and ownership
The ChordsBook app, its curated chord content, arrangements and design belong to Harmonology Labs. Song titles, lyrics and compositions remain the property of their respective owners and are provided for reference while you learn and perform. The setlists, notes and arrangements you create stay yours; you give us permission to store and display them so we can run the service and show them to the people you share them with.
Live setlists and availability
A shared live setlist depends on your device, your connection and our servers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted live synchronisation, so keep a fallback on stage. The host of a session controls what the audience sees.
Affiliate program
Affiliates earn commission on referred subscriptions at the rates published in the Affiliates section of the app. Commissions are tracked on verified, paid subscriptions. Self-referrals, fraudulent or manipulated sales are void, and we may suspend an affiliate account that abuses the program. Payouts are made using the payment details you provide.
Disclaimer and liability
ChordsBook is provided as is. Chord charts, keys, tempos and AI-curated material are provided as a practical reference and may differ from a particular recording or arrangement, so check them before you perform. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the service changes; the date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continuing to use ChordsBook after a change means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, where the service is operated.
